We are in the generation of technology in which everything is become a part of this. Few days back, we got a netbook for review. The most interesting part of that netbook was that the netbook is being made by a Pakistani company named as Viper.

    viper

Let’s talk about netbook that what is a netbook? Netbook is a very small machine , light in weight and inexpensive laptop computers suited for general computing and accessing web-based applications; they are often marketed as “companion devices,” .Viper named this netbook as Viper Notes Tablet, which is easily available in the market at a price of PKR 33,000.

Following is the specification of the machine:

    Operating System

    Windows 7 Professional

Processor Intel Atom N270 (1.6GHz) Processor
Chipset Mobile Intel® 945GSE Express Chipset
    Memory 1GB PC2-4200 DDR2-533 SDRAM
Hard drive 60GB 5400RPM SATA Hard Disk
Display 8.9″ 1024 x 600 Touch Screen for finger input
Graphics Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950
    Networking Integrated 10/100 LAN
    Expansion slots SD Card Reader
Wireless support Wi-Fi 802.11b/g Wireless LAN
Input device Touch Pad & Water Resistant Keyboard
Audio Digital Microphone & Stereo Speakers
    Webcam 1.3MP  Webcam (rotated)
    Battery 4 Cell Lithium-Ion Battery ( Upto 4hr )
    Warranty 1 Year Warranty*

As I observed that the machine is quite impressive in size and performance as well , but it needs time to get familiar with the users of the Pakistan. I have tested everything of this machine which results 100%. I think technology in Pakistan is increasing its graph by these types of products. Following are some of the pictures of Viper Note Tablet:

Screen response time is normal but not as fast as in HP TouchSmart TX2 OR TM2. It can do multi touch. 4 Cell battery running for 4 hrs in balance settings.its easy to upgrade battery and RAM. Well , unfortunately I don’t have the pictures of the back of the netbook.
