TC Executives are the persons of any company who lead the company on the way of success. Hewlett Packard has many employees who lead the HP in different parts of the world. Today, we are presenting the introduction and biography of NG TIAN CHONG who is the Vice President and General Manager of HP Personal Systems Group for South East Asia, Taiwan and Korea. Office of NG Tian Chong (TC) is in Singapore; TC oversees the group’s strategic business planning, go-to-market initiatives as well as sales and marketing efforts in the high growth South East Asian, Taiwan and Korea (SEA & K) markets. When we start his interview we asked about his academic life then TC told us that he completed his graduation in International Business from Menlo College in California and a Masters in Business Administration from Haas School of Business, University of California at Berkeley. In 1989 he joined HP and over the years, progressed through the ranks to leadership positions in several key functions within the company.  The good thing is that he joined HP and came to his region to serve for his company.

450px-Hewlett_packard_japan_ogikubo Before the present position TC was Vice President of Commercial Volume Sales (CVS), Asia Pacific & Japan. The role of TC in Commercial Volume Sales was sales of the products across the enterprise, public sector and SMB segments. When he was the VP of CVS, he reshaped the CVS organization, driving the focus around Personal Systems Group’s Enterprise segment with increased discipline around the process of sales management, and initiated programs to sharpen focus on sales coverage. Through his efforts, he successfully turned around and drove growth for CVS in Asia Pacific in just a year. TC led HP Asia Pacific and Japan Solution Partners Organization (SPO) from May 2004 to July 2007. His implantation of a strong pan-HP channel program help to maximize HP’s revenue, profit and growth, as well as the reputable positioning of HP as the best-in-class channel player in Asia Pacific.

As a summary of TC’s career of 21 years at HP, he has held a number of managerial positions in HP including Finance, Service and Support, Marketing and HPFS, spanning consumer, channel and country portfolios. His wealth of experience in sales , knowledge of the region as well as building and strengthening HP’s internal and external relationships clearly stem from this .
