Today, we were invited to attend the first ever tweetup from Samsung Pakistan at Marriott Hotel, Karachi. Samsung organized this event to share information regarding Samsung Galaxy S, Samsung Wave II, Samsung Galaxy Tab, Samsung Televisions and Samsung notebooks. The event was started with the Holy Name of Almighty Allah and then Zeeshan who is the country head of Samsung Pakistan & Afghanistan) begun his session which is related to the smartphones.
Zeeshan shared information regarding different smartphones by Samsung. There were a small number of bloggers presented at the tweetup including Umair Khan Jadoon (www.MerryCode.com), Zain Ali (www.TipsoTricks.com), Tauqeer Ahmed (www.ithinkdiff.com), and Hasan Nizamani (www.ProgrammerFish.com).
After the session of Zeeshan, Khurrum started his session which is related to the television and technology which is Samsung currently using. After this session of Khurrum, Samsung notebook’s session was started. After all the sessions, bloggers got a chance to use Samsung Galaxy S, Samsung Wave II, Samsung Galaxy Tab, Samsung Television and Samsung notebook. When we came back from the Hands-On session , Samsung announced the winner of the twitter competitionwhich they had announced in the beginning of the tweetup but conflict raised their when they gave only one Samsung mobile to Shoaib Taimur of the competition but in the invitation email of the event Samsung promised to give four Samsung Wave mobile phones to four lucky winners . This thing made us so angry that Samsung mis-committed us and made us fool. I personally talked to Zeeshan and then he apologized that and said that it was as typo mistake. We are feeling very bad.
This event was full of information and interest but prize’s thing made us disappointed. We are expecting a quick and productive response from Samsung Pakistan on this and request them to give the remaining 3 mobiles phones to the tweeters who deserve it. We are very thankful to Samsung Pakistan for inviting us but disappointed us(regarding prizes).Last but not the least Samsung Pakistan gifted us a USB Pen (laser light included) which contains a virus which you can see in the following picture shared by Hasan Nizamani :
