Microsoft Office 2010 is a productivity suite for Microsoft Windows, and the successor to Microsoft Office 2007. Office 2010 includes extended file format support, user interface updates, and a changed user experience. A 64-bit version of Office 2010 is available, although not for Windows XP or Windows Server 2003. This tutorials will show you about editing and deleting tabs in the Ribbon.  These customized tabs with their group, help us in rapid development of  our document. You can keep the commands you want, or which came in handy all the time for you. So you didn’t have to select them from deep inside the Office Applications. Following are some of the steps which will guide you how can you customize the ribbon in Microsoft Office 2010:

1- Click on the File, from the selected portion#1  then click Options .

2- Now click the Customize Ribbon button from the selected pane#2.

3- After the page has been opened, mark or unmark the Options as per your requirement. If we tick the developer’s tick box and press the OK button…

4- You can see the difference that is , the new tab has been added in the Ribbon, the selected portion#4  that developer button will allow you to do some code works with in the document. Which was not included initially as seen in the very next image, selected portion#5 .

5- You can also change the position of the tabs in the ribbon, by clicking the UP and DOWN buttons, shown in the selected portion#6 and then click OK button.

6- It is not end yet, you can also make a Tab of your command and controls. You can Rename it and also add the commands or controls that you like most. Like , I have shown below. Click the New Tab button to add.

7- After the new tab has been appeared in the list a new group has also been made or a new Group can be made by clicking the New Group button. Rename the Tab or Group it by clicking the Rename button or by clicking right mouse button. To add the commands of your choice click the add button, I have added some of the controls/commands to my new group which is under the New Tab. If some gets wrong with the setting , simply click the Reset button, under the Rename button.
