HP is very much excited about its iPad Killer which is named as HP ‘TouchPad’. In Computex Taipei, HP TouchPad was popped up among the booths. Computex Taipei is the largest computer exhibition in Asia and the second largest in the world, next to CeBIT in Germany. One of the reporters present at the exhibition recorded a video in which he performed some tasks.
The video have not much enough in it but somehow it’s showing the HP TouchPad.
According to ZDNet:
SanDisk is one of HP’s hardware partners on the 9.7? tablet running webOS 3.0, originally developed by Palm for its Palm Pre smartphone and acquired by HP just over a year ago. The TouchPad uses the Qualcomm Snapdragon dual-CPU APQ8060 (at 1.2GHz), features a XGA capacitive, multi-touch display (1024×768 resolution), offers 3G and Wi-Fi connectivity, comes with either 32 or 64 GB of memory, and has a built-in 1.3 mega-pixel front-facing camera. This slate should be in Wal-Mart by June 12 and will cost $599 for the 32GB model, according to SlashGear. (The price for the 64 GB model is not yet available.)
We have got the rumor that it will available in this month at a price of $499. Let see how much this news is right.
