We are starting a special section for one of the biggest technology event of business and government customers by Hewlett-Packard. One of the best things of this “HP DISCOVER” is that HP combines HP Technology Work and HP Software Universe EMEA into a single event which will be outstanding.
HP organizes two events of HP Discover at two different venues, one for the United States of America and the second one is for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region. HP DISCOVER 2011 for USA took place on June 6–10, in Las Vegas at the Venetian/Palazzo. The event offered nearly 1,000 sessions on application transformation, Converged Infrastructure, information optimization, mobile devices, webOS, global data centers, security, hybrid delivery and cloud computing. Approximately 10,000 customers, partners and IT thought leaders attended HP Discover 2011 in Las Vegas and approximately 5,000 are expected to attend the EMEA event.
The HP Discover 2011 event in EMEA is slated to take place in Vienna, Austria, at the Reed Exhibitions, Messe Wien Congress Center, on November 29 through December 1, 2011. HP DISCOVER is the one-stop EMEA event, where HP bring together all of their clients to hear about HP’s vision for business and governments – the Instant-On Enterprise. This is an opportunity that shouldn’t be missed, HP will demonstrate, once again, that only HP can provide the solution breadth and depth needed to help organizations capitalize on opportunity. In addition to breakout sessions, the event offered hands-on labs, thought leadership keynotes and opportunities to network with peers, HP executives, senior technologists, and HP partners. HP Discover 2011-Las Vegas sponsors included Microsoft, SAP, Intel, Brocade, Emulex, Alcatel-Lucent, AMD, VMware, Samsung and many others. Following is a little introduction to Vienna:
Vienna has a multi-faceted cultural life as it offers a choice of theatres, opera houses, stages for musicals, museums and numerous theatre, music and dance festivals. The Museumsquartier, with its Baroque façade, is home to one of the biggest cultural districts in Europe.
With its worldwide reputation as a city of music, Vienna’s first-class orchestras and ensembles give the city its seal of excellence. Alongside contemporary music, classical music continues to play a vital role, as is made evident by the Vienna Philharmonic, the City of Vienna Concert Orchestra, the Vienna Symphony Orchestra and many others. The regular appearance of international artists and ensembles on Vienna stages, compliment the city’s cultural life.
Almost half of Vienna’s municipal area is green. Parks and gardens, recreational areas, the Vienna Woods, Danube Island and the Old Danube offer a variety of sports activities, such as running, skating, biking, swimming, surfing, golf and tennis. Vienna also has its own national park, of which approximately one-quarter is within the city boundaries. The park provides a habitat for many endangered flora and fauna right near the city.
The café is Vienna’s favourite place to relax, where visitors can escape daily stress, meet friends, read the newspaper or simply enjoy a good cup of coffee. And, for night-time entertainment, there are plenty of bars, restaurants and event locations to choose from.
